Dr. Krell has dedicated her life to compassionately and effectively helping children and young adults with mental health and behavioral issues change their lives and thrive. Educated at George Washington University Medical School in Washington, DC, and the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Dr. Krell has worked with and been trained by the very best psychiatrists and psychopharmacologists in the world prior to joining the faculty at the UCLA Neuropsychiatry Institute and Geffen UCLA Medical Center. Her approach is to always see a patient as an individual, with their own unique issues, experiences, difficulties and strengths. By working with her patients to help them gain insight and understanding of who they are and what they want for their lives and future, she develops results oriented paths to health and well being that changes lives, improves relationships, promotes self love and acceptance, and can be carried into real world situations immediately and into the future. In properly and patiently diagnosing her patients, Dr. Krell can determine if drug therapy, cognitive therapy, talk therapy or a combination are needed, and work towards the goals and hopes of her patients in the shortest possible time. It is her passion for helping others, extraordinary empathy and desire to help her patients be the best and most productive they can be that has gained Dr. Krell the respect of her peers and the gratitude of countless patients and their families.
